Our Services

Pursuing Purpose Wellness is a multi-state virtual mental health center rooted in over 15 years of compassionate and culturally responsive care. We understand that life doesn’t always come neatly packaged, people are piecing things together moment by moment, just to make it through the day. That truth fuels our commitment to walk beside each person with empathy, strength, and purpose. Inspired by our guiding principle “We're only as strong as our weakest link; therefore, do your best to strengthen someone today!” our practice model centers on collective healing and daily empowerment. Every session, every strategy, every interaction is aimed at strengthening someone. Let’s get started, so we can Live in Purpose and Win on Purpose!

Individual

Individual therapy, also known as talk therapy or psychotherapy, is a private, one-on-one process between a client and a licensed mental health professional. These sessions typically last between 45 and 60 minutes and offer a confidential space to explore thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and personal experiences. Depending on your needs, therapists may draw from different approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, or solution-focused therapy, to support emotional regulation, healing, and personal growth. Through this process, clients often develop healthier coping strategies, gain insight into behavioral patterns, build confidence, and work through grief, trauma, or life transitions. Therapy is not just for crisis moments, it’s a proactive tool for anyone seeking clarity, resilience, or transformation, regardless of diagnosis. At its core, individual therapy is about strengthening mental wellness and empowering you to live with intention.

couple

Couples therapy is a form of psychotherapy designed to help romantic partners improve their relationship by addressing emotional, behavioral, and communication challenges. In this process, both individuals meet with a licensed mental health professional who facilitates open dialogue, helps identify recurring patterns, and guides the couple toward healthier ways of relating. Therapy sessions often explore issues such as conflict resolution, intimacy, trust, and external stressors that may be affecting the relationship. Rather than focusing solely on each person’s individual concerns, couples therapy treats the relationship itself as the client. Licensed mental health professionals may use approaches to strengthen emotional bonds, improve communication, and foster mutual understanding. It’s not just for couples in crisis, many seek therapy proactively to deepen connection, navigate life transitions, or build resilience together.

family

Family therapy is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on improving relationships and communication within a family system. Rather than treating just one individual, it views the family as an interconnected unit where each person’s behavior and emotions affect the others. Sessions typically involve multiple family members, such as parents, children, siblings, or caregivers, and are guided by a licensed mental health professional trained in family dynamics. The goal of family therapy is to help families navigate challenges like conflict, stress, behavioral issues, mental health conditions, grief, or major life transitions. licensed mental health professionals work to uncover patterns, improve communication, and foster empathy among members. Ultimately, family therapy provides a space to heal together, strengthen bonds, and build healthier ways of relating.
